How does cleaning out the throttle body improve the feeling of throttle response? Kinda odd if the gasolin is shot way down stream. Any thoughts?

engines run on air and gasoline not gas only. The better air flow, the better throttle respose you will have. Any restrictions in this operation will decrease the overall performance of your engine. This is also the main reason dirty filters cause bad gas mileage and poor performance. They restrict air flow.

I think it's bc when you clean the TB you get improved air flow to the engine vs what a dirty TB provides. That's why a port & polish of the TB is a great enhancement.

Consider this Eric. The typical air to fuel ratio is anywhere from 11-14 parts air to ONE part fuel. So there is much more air flow than fuel. Getting as much air to the engine w/ the least amount of restriction is key to power(and to a correctly running engine) Getting fuel to the engine is not much of a problem beucause of the amount and the fact that it's pump driven/under pressure.
