5spd help! Clutch pedal has too much freeplay

New to the 5spd world..
I know this has been discussed many times, but I couldnt find any of the old threads on it, sorry I have to ask now. My clutch has alot of freeplay, and its been getting worse over time. Now its to the point where about 70% of the clutch travel is free, and only the last 30% grabs.
Is my clutch dead, or are there some other measures I can take before getting a new clutch? Could it be because of low clutch fluid?

Thanks!

This may be what you need (adjustment instructions) but that sounds alot like cars I've driven where the clutch was going bad.

it shouldn't be related to your clutch fluid level, just make sure there is fluid in there... mine leaks yours might also have the same problem
