Automatic Transmission Filter

Is AT filter hard to change?? I hit a rock a few weeks ago and banged up my tranny pan and the filter. I've already changed my pan but i have to change my filter soon. I was just wondering if it's hard to change the tranny filter.

Why didn't you changethe filter while the pan was down? You pretty much have to remove the pan again, get a new gasket and screen(not filter) and change it out. When you take off the pan you can see the scree still connected to the tranny. Make sure you clean those magnets too.
