i have a bomz hybrid intake, i bought it off eBay.

im happy with it, its paired with a really big K&N i bought from Bryan at Berk Technologies for 30 bucks shipped (great deal there, i reccomend getting one from him).

here are my thoughts about it:

1.) filter sucked.. replaced with the k&n
2.) its really loud at WOT, awesomely loud
3.) power production is minimal, but a performance increase if any would be the exact same as with something much more expensive.
4.) be ready to drill your own holes to bolt the 3" MAF adapter plate onto your MAF to fit the cone filter. I had to, it was unexpected and annoying but for 25 bucks shipped for the bomz kit, i wasn't too mad.

hope this helps!

ok #1 the filter was just paper and IMO wasn't quality and i didn't trust it actually filtering out harsh stuff.

it is really loud, with a deep sound, it sounds like any hybrid intake with a k&n would sound like, it just happens to be 140 bucks less

the MAF adapter came with no holes drilled in it. Perhaps you should ask the vendor before you buy it if it comes with holes drilled for you. It wasn't that big of a deal, just marked some holes and drilled four 3/8" holes in the adapter.

hope this helps.

i'll take pics for ya...
