99 ECU Screw, different than other 4th gens?

OK! so I was messing around with my intake and forgot to plug the MAF back in, started it up, realized it wasn't connected, shut the car off right then, cursed a little bit, and yadda yadda my CEL comes on. So i need to pull the code and made sure its just the MAF error, which im sure it is, and also get that light off. So I run up to my room and hop on the org and check out the FAQ about this, found this picture:

( i found this pic and writeup on http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html )

OK my 99's ecu doesn't look like that. it isn't a flathead screw thats in that spot (its a micro-phillips head and its set way back in there) and also, mine's labeled at "idle speed adjustment", rather than what the picture shows as "self diagnosis mode select". It's gotta be the same method to reset the 99's ecu compared to the 97 and 98's who have the flathead screw... right?

I noticed the same thing on my father's SE-L...
Wasn't able to find a scredriver long enough to reach the screw at the time so I got frustrated and just went to a shop to pull the codes (they don't charge me for it).

Idle Speed adjustment is the second scew, it's not the same as the one you use to reset the ECU.
If you take a magnifying glass (that's what I did) you can read the label with the instructions, I think the procedure is the same as described on http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html

its the same

yah it works the same as the one in the picture. My '99 also has the small phillips head, but the procedure is the same as in the "how to"

This info should be in the FAQ with the 'how to' get your ECU codes. I searched all over and just by chance this thread was posted today. I have a '97 GLE and a '99 GLE and of course the 1999 GLE is different. A short screwdriver works and will give you the proper code - I used a little eyeglass repair driver to reach.

Mine is phillips too. I still just used a very small flat screwdriver to check codes.
