Can a bad air temp sensor cause a KS error code? help, pleh

I feel hesitation in the 3500rpm range at partial trottle.
A thread stated that a bad KS will give you hesitation.

I checked my code and sure enough, 0304, but also 0401, air temp sensor.

The thing is, I replaced me KS a month ago.
When I installed my Bomz intake, I left the air temp sensor hangin.

Can a bad air temp sensor cause the KS code?

Also, what's up with the hesitation?

i got the same problem....i installed my BOMZ intake and i left the air temp sensor hanging.....and all of a sudden my Check engine light came on....so the next day i went to autozone to have them run a free quick test for me and they told me i had a bad knock sensor and along with the one that i left hanging by itself....he reseted the CEL and now the light doesnt light up.....he told me if the problem exists the light will go back on...but its been a month now and its still off...so does this mean im FREE of problems??? why would it say i have a problem with my knock sensor???

JL, your problem looks just like mine. Except, I never had a CEL come on, I just checked for myself and there were two codes, both ghost...

I reset them again today. I'll check them again tomorrow.

But, I replaced my KS a month ago, and I started to feel the hesitation after installing the intake. I guess I'm not understanding what you're trying to say. Can you elaborate in lame man's term?
