Painted my discolored center caps *PICS*

Hey all,
This weekend i got sick and tired of looking at my ugly discolored center caps on my stock 5 spoke se wheels, so i made a trip to the auto parts store and picked up some Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Coating. In total i spent no more than $10 for the two cans of paint, i had to buy both the colored paint and the clear coat. After putting 3 coats of the paint and 2 coats of clear coat the caps are now finished and i am very pleased. The color does not match exactly but it is very close. So for all you .orgers that have this problem i highly recomend doing this very cheap and quick project.

Here are some pictures i got.

Looking at that stuff in the store it didn't look like a close enough match but it looks good in the pics. I'll pick some up soon.

Mine are also faded as hell . .. you could also buy for $10 - $15 on ebay the 2002+ centercaps with the chrome nissan emblem.

Mine were fadded too. I used some generic silver paint that my dad had laying around. It matched perfectly with my wheels.

Have you tried to fit them on the 97-99 SE wheels? Just curious because I do like those but I don't want them not to fit.

Ha. Must be something about 97 wheels.

I was going to look into getting some new or different centercaps at some point in time. It's way down on my to-do list but does make the car look like crap when it could be fixed so easily.

I'll prob just paint mine too, but does anyone have a pic of different center caps that will fit 97-99 SE rims?

Looks good.

The ones from the 97-99 fit on my 2002 wheels, so im assuming the 2002 centercaps fit the 97-99.
