I've been having some problems with my idle...maybe someone has an idea...
When I start the car the high idle is sometimes, but not always, too high. It will idle around 2000 rather than the 1500 or so it should be. Sometimes it will oscillate back and forth between 1500 and 2 grand as well which is insanely annoying!! The high idle is just very inconsistent.
It also seems like it's not dropping down to the regular idle quickly enough. I mean, the weather is getting warmer but I still find that it's idling high a mile or two after I drive 7 floors down in the garage i park in at work. Once it dops down to the 7-800 RPM idle it's usually pretty consistent though...only the high idle seems to rev and act strange.
Any ideas? TIA!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the car is running fine other than this. I've had some intake "issues" so that's been on and off, but I cleaned the TB. Maybe I should hit the MAF with a little TB cleaner?

Take out the MAF sensor and pour some rubbing alcohol on the sensor wire thing inside (don't touch it with anything). Let it dry before you put it back. http://www.motorvate.ca/auto/maxima/...m_DSC00019.jpg
To find/eliminate the MAF sensor as the problem, see if someone local to you will let you swap it out for a minute.
