sup org.. i bought my maxima about 4 months ago and it came with tint.. unfortuneitly the tint is not dark.. and its ripping... i was wondering if u guys could answer a few of my questions.

1) whats a good percentage... ( i want it dark)
2) how much does it cost.. for taking the previous tint off and applyinig the new tint.
3) does any 1 kno of a good place around the (abington , hanson , whitman ,hanover , braintree) or surounding towns...

i just recently had a 35% tint put on my max, and its great but just not dark enough. unfortunatly its as dark as i can legally get here in NC for it to pass inspection, so thats what i had to get. so the first thing you need to do is check your states tint laws, because you may not be able to have any tints at all. but if you are and theres no restrictions, i think there is a general agreement that a 20% all around is just about perfect as far as the darkness, looks, and visibility go. also i got my tints for $190, that came with a lifetime warrenty and there was also a $15 charge in the total 190 for scraping off the tint glue that was on my car when i got it. for a black car i think tinting is a must, it really adds alot to the overal appearence of the car. also even on the hottest days my black car is now tolerable to sit in after letting it bake out in the sun all day.

 

xtreme clean in weymouth, check it out they're pretty good. Also, theres a place in Brockton near easton that does cheap tints, cant think of the name offhand.

 

I have 20%, I like it a lot, but on sunny days, it doesn't look dark enough. If you want dark tint, it is going to be 'illegal'. So it's your choice.

 

I'm getting ready to get tint on my black bebe 5% in the back ones, and probably 45-50% in front (its illigal to have front windows tinted, but i want some tint, since price is the same )

 

5% all around peel off your tint if its tearing, that looks so ghetto!

 

I got mine done for $100, 18% all around. I like the way it came out.
