Brake problem

I finally got new brakes due to the indicator goin nuts... now I get all the wheels off and the front brakes are fine and so are both rear outer pads but the problem is the inside rear is worn to almost nothing while the rest of the pads were 60%+... Any idea on what is the problem? Also how the hell do I remove the rear caliper lol the online rear brake faq is no longer valid :\

Your caliper sliders are probably seized. Try to re lube the caliper pins with high temp synthetic lube or replace them.

Also make sure the emergency brake cable is not seized. That could cause irregular wear on the rear pads

That does sound a little abnormal, but the insides of any disc brake are going to wear a little more than the outside pads, FYI.

d_hammmer hit it on the head!
I had a similar experience and found that my rear driver side caliper pin was stuck. The Caliper pin should move back and forth because it is supposed to be well lubricated with high temp grease. Mine was dried out and very difficult to remove. I bought a new one from pep boys and everything is working fine now.

it is definatly the pins that the caliper slides on to center itself on the rotor. I had to replace 2 of the caliper brackets because I couldn't get the pins out, so now I have gotten in the habit of checking and re-lubing all the brakes once a year.
