My car struggles to start, help diagnose the problem

Ok, in the morning when I start my car (or attempt at least) it seems to hesitate. I turn the key and it makes the usual noise but it won't start. I have to apply some gas and then it will start. Now here's where it gets weird. In the morning it's around 40-55 degrees outside, when I leave school its around 70-80 degrees and the car has been sitting in the sun all day. When I attempt to start it at school to go home, it struggles 2-3x more harder. Hell, sometimes it does nothing when I turn the key. I know it isn't the battery, I replaced it no more than a month ago and the problems had been occuring since then. One thing I noticed after it cranked this afternoon on the way to home was: I had the air going full blast, I had the windows down to let the hot air out so I rolled them up. I pulled up on the button again to double check I got all the windows up (which they were) and I noticed the air seemed to weaken when I cliked the buttons. It made less wind noise when I clicked the buttons if that makes more sense. The windows seem to roll up and down very slowly, even one time I was rolling all 4 down at the same time and they just stopped, but worked soon after. I have a small idea of what it could be though: either the starter which was screwy a few years back (you had to jiggle the steering wheel back and forth to start it) and it was rebuilt. My other idea of the problem is the alternator, but I'm not sure. This problem is very annoying, even embarrasing at school hearing the car like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Have you replaced the battery wires? Is the alternator running properly? Have you inspected the ignition switch?

could be excessive corrosion on the battery terminals, ignition, or a starter on its way out. Could be a lot of things really, no CEL I assume?
