Take out your guage cluster and find the white/green wire on one of the connectors that plug into the cluster. Much easier than tapping into it by the ECU.

Which wire on the coil pack did you hook it up to? Theres a POS (red), and a GROUND (black)wire for every coil, the 3rd wire is the signal wire that you need to tap into.

I have the Summit also, i'm pretty sure the summit switch does not have a "per coil" function.

You can't use the coil pack with the summit. You have to use the tach signal from the ECU. It is the white wire with a green stripe. Kinda hard to find. Your best bet is undo the bundle of wires going into the ECU, tap the tach signal, and rebundle up the wires. IIRC the tach wire is next to a couple of purple wires and one empty pin.

The summit switch will also have one unused wire, the grey one I believe. So you have the power (I use the cig fuse), groud, tach, and wire for the daws switch.

And remeber, you can't set the summit dip switches like the harlan. It's not made for a 6cyl so you kinda have to guess where to set it. 3200 or 3400 on the dip switches works for me.

Have you looked at how to do it yet? It's so easy I can't imagine you tired to do it and had problems. You just move the dip switches the desried rpm

As far as what to set it at you just need to try different ones and see what works for you. It might be different than what I use. You want it to open around 5200-5400 rpm's indicated on your tach. Just mess with the dip switches unitl you get it to open at that point.

Positive. I set my Summit to 2200 RPM and the MEVI opens at exactly 5000 RPM.
