Greddy SP2: When?

The Greddy SP2 catback for the 97-99 was supposed to be released before January 2004. Well, it appears that it's not released yet. Anyone have info/rumors?

Also, I'm about to buy a Budget Y-pipe and am trying to decide whether to get a Budget B-pipe at the same time and then buy a good muffler to complete the package, or to buy just the Y-pipe and then buy a SP2 when it finally comes out. I'd like to hear anyone's opinions for 1. performance 2. sound 3. looks and 4. value (the SP2 will be at least $650 I'm guessing...).

So tell me: Greddy SP2 or Budget B-pipe + [insert your ideal muffler here].

I just ordered an SP2 from redlinemax.com. Angela was very helpful, great service! $525 as listed on their site, plus $95 shipping. Considering I'm from Canada, I'm guessing it'll be under $600 for you.

Nice to see that the 95-96 max's have a few advantages over the 97+. We may suffer no red-clears, but get the ecu's and SP2's first.

I am waiting on the WS y-pipe that was shipped this tuesday to cali. I already have a PR CAI on a 98 auto. If i was you i would wait for the all stainless steel Greddy SP2. Thats whut i'm gonna do. Don't regret spending your $ on crap. Do it right the first time. Same goes for your audio system.

I have a budget y-pipe with stock cat-back at this point. Nothing against Budget, but I'm waiting for the SP2 to come out for 97+.

If you can't be patient just buy the 95-96 SP2 and have an o2 sensor bug welded in. That is the only difference between the two.

Hmm, thanks for that info. If that's the only difference, you'd think it wouldn't take them so damn long to come out with the 97-99....

The tip might be a bit inset for your taste as well, but that is an easy fix too.
