Problems Rewiring Corners

Ok so about...I guess it was a couple of months ago, I rewired my corner lights. When I was through, I looked at them and they looked a little brighter, but I couldn't really tell cause it was in the day time. When I looked at them that night however, I noticed that the one on the left side had become brighter while the one on the right side had stayed the same. I figured that I had just soldered the wire to the same place I had unsoldered it and figured I would resolder it later. Well today I finally got the chance and when I finished soldered the right side corner light (the dim one) terminal to the other terminal, I realized that now the right side became brighter while the left side corner light went back to the stock dimness. If anyone could tell me what is going on here or what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.

Take them both off.. get a 9v battery.. and test them infront of your face.. then set them correctly.. ither that or you have one bulb brighter than the other..
