Tranny experts, try to explain this!
Ok, I'll try to explain this as clearly as possible. I'll explain it in the steps that things happen.
1. Car is moving about 45-50 MPH.
2. I let off the gas getting ready to hit brake.
3. Car shakes and i feel transmission shift hard and car shakes.
4. I do not hit brake and go to re-accelerate.
5. Pushing gas, I feel the transmission shift again with slight jerk.
6. Everything's normal after that.
Any guesses? If you want further details please ask. I am taking to the transmission guys Monday so i kinda want to know what to expect. I also have the "Transmission control line to ECU" engine code. Any advice?

Oh man. The torque converter means they actually have to drop the transmission out of the car right? How much does one of those things cost? Do I have to buy a new one or is this something that can be fixed? I'm in college. I'm one broke a$$ ****.
