Use only NGK, that's the company which makes them specifically for Nissan. Now, there are platinum, irridium and copper types. Plattinum are recommeded by factory, but they are like 11 bucks, and some guys here recommend copper ones, plus they are cheaper.

I'm going with platinums

Hey, can you please tell me couple of reasons why u'r choosing Copper instead of Platinum or Iridium, for example?

I need to buy them and still noone could tell me the diference from a technological point of view.

Do copper last longer? Is that it? What about spark itself?

Thanx.
Michael

Could you possibly just scroll down the forums and read that there are 20 different posts on Spark Plugs?

But for the sake of helping.

1) COppers deliever the same performance and are cheaper than the plats.

2) Why choose PLATS? They last longer, Some say better quality.

Main reason is im running nitrous so I cant use platinum with that. Without nitrous I would have just left the platinums in there since I still had about 20k left to go on them but would have switched to copper anyways. plats last about 60k, copper about 25-30k normally..

One per cylinder on every car.

Just use the NGK coppers. They are 1/3 the cost. YOu do have to change them every 30k, but it is not hard at all. Your wallet will thank you.

Thanks,

BTW whatever plug you get make shure you pre check the gap before you install. The platinum plugs are supposed to be already pre gapped for you but just incase someone mishandles the package or something that messes up the gapping. Stock gap is .044 I believe

arnt u suppose to open the gap up a little bit more for coppers..like .045 or.046 or something. logically, a larger gaps forces the electricty to have to jump father making a bigger spark for better combustion. but it only has a positive affect up to a certain point.
