I punched it and now when i drive and i punch it agian it just like slow now..dunno if first gear went out or not? How will iknow..Casue i put it in first gear it took off but not as fast just slow.But tomorrow ill cehck my throttle cable or wahtever and see if anything is wrong but if anyone knows what they think it is please post..thanks

 

Looks like you need to get your car dynoed.. Your description is vague.

You punch it and your not feeling the power? Could be numerous things.. Any codes?

nope no codes..Like i took off and i felt the power.now a while ago i punched it and it just felt slow.I put it in first gear and it was going but not that much power and shifted fine..Oh by the way i have an AUTO

 

Well tonight i drovemy car wihtout no problem push the gas pedal to the floor and i would feel the power and it went.But later on the night i push the gas pedal to the floor and it took off slow.Tried it couple of times and got the same results.So now im thinking how do i know if my first gear went out?Or if my throttle cable got loose or is fked up and need a new cable? Or if the bolt holding the throttle cable and cruise control got loose and is just slacking?Dunno my friend is fked up right now but email him or post message so he can know tomorrow whne he wakes up..LOL

 

Knock sensors dont throw a CEL. check it

 

this only happening in 1st gear or across the board? does the engine rev follow what input you're doing to the gas pedal??

 

nismo...you may want to say that knock sensors dont throw a code as they are going bad, but when they are dead they sure do.

 

They dont light teh CEL if there going back or are bad.. You actually have to check it to see if its bad, CEL wont light on to tell you... Ghost code.

 

oh well problem went away this morning and speed is back to normal..But going to check with mechanic tomorrow..thanks
