CPS Bad- 0101 *HELP*

CPS Bad- 0101 *HELP*
I was racing a civic si. Shifted at 6300, a high shift, but as i was releasing the clutch into second, the car totally died.
I pulled codes to find 0101. Camshaft position sensor. Being dumb, i cleared the codes and now get 0505 and a car that backfires like hell, and will not catch. The spark was not reliable. I pulled #3 out and watched it.
It also made some VERY bad mechanical sounds. Hope its not valves or chain. It only happened once or twice. Maybe no oil from cranking over with no pressure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
