replace front bumper?

I just recently got a 99 max, and the previous owner was careless and bumped some things and i got some pretty big and UGLY scratches all over, and i just found out that she tapped the front liscence plate and there are two big holes on my front bumper?

my question is should i replace my bumper? basically how hard/ how much is it going to be to get one, and would it look good???

thanks for the help!

OEM ebay bumper = less than $100 shipped
painting + installation = around $300

so ur looking around $400. u should always ask around to get hook ups and discounts. body work is very expensive.

Hmmmmm... 2 base coats + 2 clear for a front bumper sounds too little. The slightest tap and you'll get that spider-web crackin in the paint. Better to buy a new, primed bumper for $95 shipped (another auction - $49.95 + $45 S/H) and take it to a reputable shop near you. At least then you can make sure the job is done right and matches the rest of your car, ya know?

Don't you get spider cracks when there is too much paint on the car? The paint is so thick and hard that it just starts cracking on its own. Just get an extra coat of clear and you're set. Don't be a sissy and install it yourself.

You should see if that's the process they use strictly on body panels such as fenders, hoods, doors, etc. Flexible bumpers need an additive to increase the flexiblilty of the paint. I just e-mailed another seller about the same item(haven't gotten back to me yet), but the one you found is a little cheaper. You should do the same. I'm about the change the bumper on my car as well, does anyone have a bolt diagram or at least a itemization of parts to be removed in order to reach all the bolts?
