What do you guys do for the emissions test if you have a performance ypipe? Cause I heard that it only meets emissions at normal running temperatures.

...just did mine

and it passed with flying colors. Just run your car 10-15 minutes before you get there and try to get 1st in line. The only time it comes close to not passig is at complete cold. I have Y-pipe, B-pipe, HKS exhaust. Only one pre-cat

BlackMax, which state do you live in? Here in CA, I think the emissions test is more strict.

The pre-cats that are removed are only useful until the main cat is brought up to temp. Eliminating the 2 pre-cats won't hurt emissions testing as long as the main cat is nice & hot. Even cali people have passed with a y-pipe. What it won't pass is the visual inspection, but how many smog technicians have you seen look under a car. Their main concern is to pass a car as quick as possible, collect outrageuos fees, and to get the next car in.

Dont sweat it. With a fresh oil change and the main cat, you will pass no problem. Just make sure the engine is at full operating temp when you roll in there.
