My wiper arms are peeling the black paint off in a couple spots. Anyone else having this problem? I guess I'm just going to sand them and paint them again myself, but this is rather annoying...

mine are

a bit dry looking and it isn't black black as it were out of the factory. I think one reason is due to the sun, rain and just the overall weather taking its toll on it. I think with time, it will fade to almost a silver color when the paint has faded entirely.
I just try to put some wax on it to shine it up...more protect it than anything else.

Wiper blade peeling

Same here. I have a 1996 with about 25,000 miles. Never power washed, only light washing with a spunge. The car is always under a car cover when it is not being driven. Car is always kept clean. Both wipers are "flacking" at the thick end of the arm. The dealer says the arms are not under warranty.

I also own a 1986 Peugeot 505 STI that I us a SUV and/or truck and has had no peeling of any black coated surfaces. Go figure from a car that most people hate.

If there are two of us then there will probably be more.
