Floor jack positioning

Where are the correct points to place a floor jack? I know there's a beam in the rear half of the car that we're supposed to use but what about the front?

omg, I always wonder the same thing. I feel like such a noob, but I had my friend jack up cars the wrong way before and saw holes in the bottom of their cars.

Anyway, I know there are two points on the left and right side, so a total of four. I never knew how u guys put jack stands on these points since one must jack the car up on these points in the first place...... anyone follow????

I guess like THT says there are places for the jack in the front and rear end?????

On my 96, there's a round bump in the center, near the front. The 'teeth' on your floor jack should fit around this bump.

If you're talking about the jack stands, then you put one on each rail running along the length of the car. I believe there's a notch just behind where you're supposed to support the car with jack stands. It's located just past the front wheels.

The man's right, look underneath the car at the center and about a foot back there is a little mound thing...

So maximus_pr, you're saying not to use the mound thing? Where would you put it?

The mound is where Nissan engineered the car to be jacked up in the front. I've lifted the car several times at that spot with no problems (the tooth thing slipped once tho). You would need to crash it into a wall to bend it...
