aawwwwfffuuullll smel......

whenever it rains and i have fresh air recirc. on i get this terrible smell coming from my vents. it's only noticable rain it's rainy or damp outside. how can i get rid of the smell? thanks fellow orgsters.

Take a can of lysol. make sure it says it kills germs. get a scent like mountain breeze or whatevr b/c its gonna smell like the scent of the lysol for a few days and original lysol is NASTY. Turn your A/C on high and spray the can into your intake vents by the bottom of the window. It should do the trick. Empty half the can in

yeah, that is probably a good bet.
There is just mold or mildew in there that is being exaggerated with the moisture.

The ones right below the windshield (the top of the hood).

the vents sit under the wipers.. leave the settings on freshair, blast it at 4. i empied a whole can of lysol. becareful to to spray to much lysol on your bad. it likes to eat it. switch vent settings from front to defrost you you clean all the air pathways.

i jsut did this 3 days ago.. works great. i had the same mildew smelling a/c..
