braking problems??....

braking problems??....

when i go like 70 or 80 and press on the brake hard the car shakes like crazy and the brake pedal vibrates on a non ABS car..... please tell me if its normal or if it's not normal and help me out solvig the problem thanx.....

You need to replace your front brake rotors.

the rotors are fine and smooth.. also i have noticed that when i leave my car in nutral without the hand brake my rear pads are touching the rotors is it supposed to be like that??? if not how much space supposed to be between the rotors and pads in the back... thanx

warped rotors will cause the car to shake, as for the rear pads, can you easily turn the wheel? if it makes a little bit of a scraping noise its fine but if your wheel is locked up you should rebuild your rear caliper or check to see that the e-brake is releasing.

Was ABS an option? I thought it was standard on the SE.

i guess it was cause i got no ABS ......
