diamond plate trunk mat

diamond plate trunk mat

anybody ever taught about this . That cardboard in the trunk is not really strong having like a speaker box on it .......I was just wondering if that ever popped in anyone elses head

sure, but you would have to make it out of at least 2 pieces, cause you realize that if you made one out of one piece there would be now way yo make it fit through the trunk opening, plus think about how much everything would slide around on top of that aluminum

You could take the seat out to install it. Thats probably how they get the cardboard one in there.

umm??...

my cardboard piece comes out through the trunk, not the back seat!

Yeah i guess so i'm not sure . I think you can slide out the carboard that comes without taking the backseat out or bending it ...........not quite sure

lately Ive been think about getting some nice sturdy wood cut and carpeting it and replacing the cardboard stuff, my two 15s cracked it and now the crap slides everywhere.

are you talking about putting in a piece about the same size as the piece of cardboard? if you are then there wont be any problem with getting it in and out. i just assumed you wanted something to cover the floor of the entire trunk. what i have is some 1/2 inch particle board to hold up my subs. what i did is i traced around the factory trunk mat and then cut it on both sides. then i just put the middle pice in without any problems and pop in the side pieces seperately. i was thinking of doing something cool with diamond plate too but i couldnt think of a way to make it look good after cutting it up. with the particle board i just covered it up with the old trunk mat and there was no problem
