I have a '95 GLE but want '97+ SE wheels and a rear spoiler. Would having these items on my Max make me a poser?

I just want to 'sport it up" a bit...

 

I say go for it. One thing I recomend is getting rid of the third brake light in your back window when you get the spoiler with the leds in it, it looks a lot better this way.

These threads make me chuckle, does it really matter what it makes you to other people? It all comes down to does it make YOU happy?

 

no, because those are options to add. if you were going to put a badge on your car that said you were an SE when you're not, that's another story.

but forget about people on here, if you like something and other's don't, who cares.

Personally, I love the 97+ rims, and would like to get some myself. I don't know why everyone on here is calling everyone else posers. Middle school kids call each other posers, and I know for a fact that everyone that comes here is long past. What are you posing? That you have a 97? You're wasting your time calling someone else who has a 4th gen a poser, because, really, we all have the same cars.

I say get the wheels. Also, (not because they are so popular) I would suggest taking a look at the Miglia Evo 5's. You can look at them on Tirerack.com. I discovered these waaaaay before I started coming to this site, so its not like I'm trying to "pose" someone else on here. Good luck.
