Performance grounding?

i came across a post here on org.....some guy recomended running a ground wire from a second terminal of the battery (if exists) to the frame of the car......

i also read this on vtec.net

http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-messa...ge%5fid=234099

can anyone comment on this.....why would a car need extra grounding if not equipped with audio system etc. is this another "rice" product, the grounding kits?

a well grounded car will make you headligths shine like the should, your stero play better at high volum, will reduuce static and hissing noises from the stereo. some claim, better sparks form your plugs. the maxima already has a few stock grounds. u can jsut replace the ones on the car with new wire, clean ans sand down the stock mounting points.. you shold be good to go. if u want to add extra, a new on to the TB , alternator and timing chaincover or intake manifold may help.

stock grounds get dirty/rusty overtime therefore lowering the efficiency of your electrical components.. regrouding them will help them function like they were meant to.. i wouldnt call it performance casue it wont outperform itself when new. jsut helps it get back its "new" performance.

its rice if its a bright color.. use black wires and it will look clean.
