Level 10

www.levelten.com

Some people have had trouble with them but I would keep looking and see if someone locally can do it. Just search online like at google.com and see what you can come up with.

Cool. I am interested in getting one too. Did you feel more power at the wheels?
ANy downsides to this? How much was the install.

I just edited protorqs site, i feel the power down low a little better, like i said tires spin easier than b4, but i dont like my 2k 17in rims, i felt from the behinning they hold me back alot, i mainly did this TC mod cause i did not want to do a 5speed swap...i installed it myself with a friend, a tranny shop will charge anywhere from $2-400 for install.I do not have any numbers nor have i ran against another auto max when i do i will let the org know

What stall speed did you get.

What other differences did it make besides easier to spin tires?

i got it used from calsonic for $300...i forgot the stall speed but i think it is either 500 or 1000 rpms above stock, there is def more kick from my car from a standstill i launch a little faster, but still does not fully get rid of that down low auto drag, like i said i dont have any #s and my butt dyno does not count, when i go to the track i will post my 60' times and compare...A built torque convertor ONLY helps 60' times which helps 1/4 mile times

So was the upgrade worth the money (in your opinion)?

i found out my flash stall is about 2800rpms and the stock is around 2200rpms. Now if i think it was worth it, to me, no, but it does get me off the line quicker, and i am not a fan of the butt dyno, when i get to the track i have to compare my #s and see if it was realy worth it...I think when u order a built TC, u can let them know what stall speed u would like, i know a 3rd gen and his built TC has helped him the most in the 1/4...I still get that dead spot in acceleration around 3000rpms and that is whats holding us autos back at least .5 sec in the 1/4.
