i dont really care for stillen or any of these big named corporations (bought my kit from a local) but the reason why stillen is/will be a pain about this is due to the fact that without purchasing it directly from them, its understood that it is bought from a private party at a lesser value of what their profit would have been. In result, unless they have proof that they already made x amount of dollars in profit off of you, they're not going to spend x amount of dollars giving away a new stillen lip. In my work experience this IS the mindset of most businesses, regardless of whether or not people like it.

The truth is businesses' number 1 priority is PROFIT. You may say customer service, but in reality its PROFIT.

As for the response to your statement, no I do not believe my bumper is unbreakable but neither does Nissan advertise on the Maxima website that it is. Stillen however does, it clearly states on their "All of the STILLEN urethane parts are so flexible, durable and impact resistant that we guarantee our urethane components against breakage or cracking in normal use for as long as you own your vehicle." (BTW, nowhere on the page or in that quote do you see "non-transferable") Well guess what, i had impact under normal useage and the biotch cracked. Stillen does not honor the warranty from retailers like avalon racing, southwest or anyone else, the only way you get the warranty IS TO BUY FROM STILLEN, which is how they maximize profit. Now im sure if i bought it from Avalon or Southwest, they would take it back and then they would send it to stillen, but if i called stillen, they wouldnt honor it for me.
No one is forcing anyone here, if someone wishes to help me and/or make some cash then THATS WHO THIS THREAD WAS INTENDED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. As for stillen AD, I dont care, in fact i wish they would come read this thread and see their customers reactions, thats called customer feedback and surveys and many companies PAY to get this information (those that care about customer satisfaction at least). People need to know what they are buying and who they are buying from. Its much easier to spend $100 at SW or Avalon or CM or even spend less and buy a "replica", WHAT THE DIFFERENCE, its all the same **** but peolpe want the lifetime warranty so they spend extra to buy from stillen.
The snow has been gone for a while indeed, fortunately some of us a social life and other obligations as opposed spending a load of time fixing a $200 plastic. I guess you have no clue what im talking about. Well your from Queens, so you would probably not sleep for a week and fix this lip so you can go park on Francis Lewis and be "cool" standing in front of you car. I guess you need a car to show off for attention to make up for other "shortages".

Broaner, this is a stillen lip, and regardless who it was purchased from it is entitled to the same warranty as any other stillen lip, so no im not a crook, just want what im rightfully owed.

Chillin, I buy a 2004 maxima from the paper with 5k miles. This car orignially comes with a 3 year/ 36K mile warranty. So at 10k miles, the engine dies, the car rusts and the door fall off, are you telling me that if i take it to the dealership they will tell me "well ur not the original owner so the warranty doesnt apply to you", I DONT THINK SO, a warranty is a warranty and applied to everything that company puts its name on for the duration of the warranty plan.

Pimpin, you have a worse problem than i do. Now does that want to make you deal with a company like that again??? Probably not which means customers turn away and ultimately less profit. I mean why wouldnt you upgrade you computers, you offered a lifetime warranty to thousands of customers. People has a lot of receipts and lose them so stillen is wrong. The only reason why I would buy another lip from them in ur case is to match the rest of the kit, but even then id look for alternative means of obtaining it.

Axis, it is obvious that you are the brightest mind on this thread and know exactly whats inside my head. If i can obtain it at minimum cost, why pay $200, i dont wipe my as$ with bills like some of you do. BTW im getting tired of the BS posts myself, people tend to be so annoying and support a big name org that doesnt give a damn about them (except for their money) over one of their own members.

Chillin, their proof that they made X amount of $ is the lip that i send them, its their lip so obviously at one time they made X amount of $

Lifetime means lifetime and if i were in certified beasts position i would have done the same damn thing...Stillen isnt THAT productive in the maxima world...at least nothing THAT special...I mean when was the last time they came out with anything new for the maxima besides the V2 blower? you would think with all this money that they charge for crap...they would be out with some new products right? NO! not anytime soon at least...

Although I too would be upset if such a thing happened...I gotta agree with most of the guys here. Yes, Stillen does sell it to places like SWA but those are wholesalers. Usually, with lifetime warranties, the catch is that you have to be the original owner...and no, that wouldn't be the reseller...they meant the original RETAIL owner.

Too bad about your lip and I think a lot of people on the .ORG were a little too harsh but personally I don't think you can do much about it and the manner in which you want to handle the situation is a little unethical.
