Im 16 about to be 17(march 29th)...and every six months i have to pay $900 for my insurance (600 for grandma's 99 Cr-V, 275 for my 96 Maxima SE, and 25 for my dad's 94 sentra xe) I have no speeding tickets and we got full coverage on everything.....does this sound about right for insurance or should i shop around?....about what do you all pay?

 

Depends on what state you live in. They all vary to an extent. Here in NJ, insurance that cheap certainly would be nice!

 

Thats the BIGGEST reason your isnsurance is 275 and dads is 25. The second biggest is your name. Vinnyd. You are a male.

 

$1800 a year for three cars and a young (male) driver sounds like a pretty good deal to me. You might be able to get cheaper rates depending on whose name the policy is under. Also make sure you're getting discounts for any airbags, anti-theft devices, and 'good student' status.

That's not bad. For just my Max I pay $870 every six months.

I pay just under $700 every six months in socal. That's at 23 with no ticket (on my record ) you should be glad it's only 900 for 3 cars... I wish
