New to this forum.. tire question

I am getting 235-45-17 tires on a 17" wheel. will this fit ok on a 96 GXE 5 speed? i noticed that a guy on one website had them and he said they work fine. any other opinions? I have ground control coilovers so i can raise or lower it if its needed. thanks

by "will it fit" i mean will i have problems with any rubbing? i dont know the overall diameter, but its the same for all 235-45-17 tires (at least theoretically). Offset is +40 i believe, whatever the correct offset is for the maxima in a 17x7" wheel, discount tire direct knows their stuff and will send me whatever the correct fitment is. my question is basically "does anyone else use this size without problems?" and/or "what other size would anyone suggest?"

235/45ZR/17 is the ideal size for 17s on a Maxima. There will be no problems, even with a lowered suspension. However, those tires are a bit too wide for 17x7s. I prefer 17x8s on a Maxima with 235/45ZR/17s for an ideal fit. 35-40mm offset.
