When I changed my front pads today, I noticed that the pasenger side brakes had worn twice as much as the driver side. Shouldn't they wear equally? I know the fronts wear faster than the backs. Is there something that needs to be adjusted?

The previous owner had the pads replaced right before he sold it to me. That is why I changed the rotors while I was at it.

The ones that are wearing the quckest (passenger side in your case) more then likely is sticking a little bit when you apply the brakes thus making contact with the rotor longer. Get the pins on the calipers re-greased.

yeah, check out that caliper that is ont he side that is wearing more. It might be sticking a little.
Greasing it should do the thing.

Inspect that caliper to see that the wheel moves somewhat freely when turned. Also consider lubricating the slide pins and the areas that each side of the brake pad rides on inside the caliper housing. If something is binding, it will not allow the pad to retract back from the rotor

That side was a ***** to get the bolts off. The pads bolt were tight and the bracket bolts were very tight I had to stand on the wrench to get it to break loose. When I put it all together, I used plenty of grease on the pad pins and some anti seize on the caliper bolts. As for the calier housings I cleaned with a rag to get all of the old break dust off. I never thought about putting grease on them. Great Idea.

Hopefully that should cure that problem.
