Faulty wiring or interlock?

Hey folks,

Am new to this group. I bought a Maxima 95 a couple of weeks ago - awesome car. Have a question regarding ignition.

When I started the car with the rear windows down, the car does not start. If I raise the rear windows and try starting it, it starts! Is this some sort of an interlock on the car - or do you think there is something faulty with the wiring?

Thanks,

Ajay.

Very strange. How many times have you done this? Does it consistently do it?

Yesterday - I tried about three times, thrice with the rear window down (did not start), and thrice with the window up (started).

However, I am convinced its probably a loose connection, because I deliberately lowered my rear window this morning to see if the car would start. It should'nt have, but it did :| - so I will probably get it checked next time I go for an oil change.

Thanks for responding.

Ajay.
