Open up the hood start cracking on removing the stock airbox, no problem with the top half. Bottom of the airbox, there are three screws attaching the bottom of the airbox to the car. First screw: No problem. Second Screw: top twists off and breaks screw, rest pulls out, not really a problem. Third screw (one closest to front of car) Will turn, but wont come out. Screw Moves, but just turns. I tried to unscrew it for about 45 minutes and decided that ill consult the gurus.

Is this screw like 3 feet long or is there a problem?

 

It's not that long, probobly stripped. See if you can't get something under the head of the screw, and lift/pry up on it while trying to unscrew it. If the thread of the screw are jacked, you might be able to get it up enough to catch some good threads. Works for me sometimes. Good luck. :redboun

 

can you be able to stick your finger under the box, if so just push up on the screw while you twist it off, it should come out.
