MEVI then ECU, or ECU then MEVI?

Well, unforutantely, I can't get both parts at the same time...
But I don't know which part I need to get first.
If I get the MEVI first, I'm gonna suffer at low rpms until an ECU upgrade.
If I get the ECU programmed for a MEVI engine, wouldn't the car behave strangely since the VI isn't actually there?

Hmm..

What kind of different programs does JWT or Technosquare provide?
How do they differ? What about transmission differences?

Most everyone who has both MEVI and ECU says get the ECU first. It's not gonna change in this thread.

MEVI or ECU

The ECU doesn't need to be programmed for the MEVI. The MEVI is really just a mechanical enhancement that makes the car breathe better at high rpms. The ECU will simply notice more air coming in and adjust itself accordingly.

Getting the ECU first will be no problem and probably the better thing to do.

i know personally i'm getting the mevi first. the only reason being i still have an auto tranny, and am not sure yet whether or not i'm going to convert to 5-speed. yes i know all i would get is a check engine light, but i just would rather know for sure what it is that i'm going to do...plus i may want the supercharger/turbo setup with just the raised limiter/injectors/z32 maf in the not to distant future...
