New Max and quick Q?

Got my new max on saturday, I got a 97 SE 5spd fully loaded with 130kmi for $3300 so I got a little left over in my car budget for mods. Got some plans but I gotta take care of the minor suspension problem first. And secondly, I was wondering if i could set off the CEL by bumping the MAF? I don't have enough time at the moment to pull the code even if it is easy but just wondering. Thanks for the help and I'll post some pics a little later.

I cannot believe "they" let one go that cheap.

I don't know about the CEL, but you might want to look at the group deal going right now for some aftermarket struts made my KYB. Read up on it, because you have until the middle of June to buy from that group deal.

Well after closer examinations in my autos class, I have come out with 4 new pieces of info which are the cv boots,o2 sensor and knock sensor are bad but the great news is that the previous owner put on tockio struts. So after about 300-400 in repairs I will be as good as new. My new question is if I get a new performance ECU do I need a new o2 or knock sensor or will the ecu deal without?

Thanks,
Robert

If your O2 and knock sensors are bad, you need to replace them. ECU relies on them, modified or not. You will be glad you did. Much better gas mileage and performance. www.oxygensensors.com has good deals.
