96 Max - I have just had my Alt, Batt and other misc items replaced and now the car starts and runs fine. But,,,, the clock, radio and remote does not work. The mechanic tested the fuses and wire and all were getting power. Is there some kind of reset that needs to happen? I know that there is a way to reset the remote but wouldn't think that this has anything to do with the radio or clock. I have not tried re-setting the remote yet. Any ideas? Batt was unhooked from car for about 72 hours.

Oh yeah,,, and I ran through a bunch of the stickies and about 800 postings to find the answer. Search being turned off doesn't help.

At least you looked. Most people don't even look first.
They just post up yet another thread that is the same as any others. It just clutters things up.
If we would just post on the same threads, it would be easier to find things.

that search being turned off really sucks...

i dunno but maybe i have a similar problem with mine. my fusible link in the hood for the windows, locks and seat keeps blowing. i really have no answer and the only post i have gotten the guy asked if i put the right fuse in... which i did.

for yours, you should try resetting the remote and it kinda sounds like it could be a security setting or something

check to see if your interior lights come on. In my old car i had the same things replaced and my radio wouldn't work either. It turned out that the fuse for interior lights was blown. Don't know if this helps. If worse comes to worse try checking the connections.

It's a 10amp fuse under the dash. If you take out the little door that is onder the dash on the left side, where all the fuses are. The back side has all the fuses and their values. There is one fuse at the very top that is highlited in white. I just had that, radio, clock, and alarm didn't work. Replaced blown fuse and it's all fine.
