Cold Air Intake Install....Noob.

I should probably know how to install my new intake but, I don't want to mess it up. I bought the BOMZ CAI off of ebay and was wondering how it went together and what the end result looked like. They didn't send me any instructions which is nothing new but, for a noob, I would like to see some instructions. Thanks.

I got the same one afew days ago. You probably won't be able to use the elbow pipe they sent. In other words you will have a wai. Another warning is that you might need new hoses connecting to the pipe. The stock ones for my car were a little short....hope this helps

Thanks for helping me out....I even asked the people if i needed to drill a hole and they said no...that bastards! And the hoses are too short it's horrible. And I can feel a lag in the performance too.

I didn't put the full cai in yet, i don't have the time right now....but i just have it set up regullary. And the throttle lags a bit, is that normal?

I only have half of my BOMZ CAI on and I noticed a nice increase in performance as well as throttle response. Should get around to putting the elbow part on this weekend and see how much that makes a difference.

EDIT: Try resetting your ECU ..... ?

After doing a bit of driving around, i did notice that there is a noticeable amount of power increase even with half of the CAI installed. And the throttle isn't that bad anymore. How do you reset the ECU again....haven't done it in like a year or so.....
