Fed and Cali Spec??

Yes I know this may sound dumb but the plate on the firewall of my 95 has a "V" as the 12th letter indicating a cali spec car.

N = Canada
V = California
U = US, not California

So I was about to call up Budget exhaust and I realized that I only noticed 2 harnesses between the radiator and the engine which Im pretty sure are the O2 harnesses. Cali spec should have 4....or am I wrong? Since there are only 2 harnesses wouldn't that make it a fed spec, so why does the plate say its a cali spec car? Just curious and I don't want to get the wrong y-pipe.

If your car is a 95, the Y-Pipe is the same for all 95's. 99's are the only oddballs that require different Y-Pipes for cali vs Fed spec cars.

Thanks for the quick response MaxiumumHP. I just called up budget and hopefully getting the pipe soon but they have to make sure the stainless steel is in stock.

Get the stainless steel if they have it. It is worth it, esp up North where you are. You don't want it to rust out.
