well, after replacing the starter a few weeks ago my car doesnt start again. now it starts but dies right away. the starter and battery are fine but it seems like the engine isnt getting fuel or something. anyway, in the beginning it started, ran for a few seconds, and died; but after a while it just starts and instantly dies. i was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or what commonly happens around 100k??

Check all your vacume hosses and replace the fuel filter if you havn't in the past 75k, besides that good luck diagnosing the prob.

If it starts and then dies, it's probably the alternator; but check the hoses as well.

i had the same problem when i removed/repaired the starter. i, as a grade A idiot, forgot to reconnect the vacuum hoses to the airbox and the MAF sensor plug.
