I just turned 16 about 2 weeks ago and for a birthday present my mom gave me her 97 Maxima SE. I already got a Pioneer DEH-P7200 stereo and 2 Memphis Power Bass 12" with a 400 watt Memphis amp. I really don't know much about engine mods. If someone could help, what are some good engine mods? Also if you know anything about euros or clear taillights, help me out. Thanx.

engine..
intake cone filter will get more air into the engine and give you a nice growl under acceleration
here is some info
----Nissan 3" Intake Adapter-$25.00-Lightningmotorsports.com.
----Ractive Superflow Chrome Intake Filter-$20.00-Local shop.

any cone style filter with a 3" opening will do...

y-pipe exhaust more air going into the engine from the intake and more must come out.y-pipe-$260.00-$400.00 there is a group deal going on this check that section.

these are the basics for you being only 16

there are some big boy toys
s/c-$3,500.00=$4,000.00 NOS,ecu, underdrive pulleys, freeflow cat, muffler, valve body mod if you have an auto..

be more specific on what you are trying to accomplish and look at my page or email me and I will help you....William...

euro lights are not made for Maximas yet but I think they are trying hopefully..
since you have a 1997 you can make your own red/clear mod

Engine mods are in the future for my ride as well. Basic at first as I am always running on a budget.
