This is the updated information on a new MIRC room created for Maxima.org members. The old one may have had some issues with getting registered but I am not sure.

To join the new room:

Download MIRC via: http://www.mirc.com/get.html

After installation go to tools and then options located on the top of the MIRC window.

On the left side you will see options for different settings

*click on connect, In nick, please type in the maxima.org member name:

*click on servers, use undernet, join server

After connection click on the icon under favorites with the symbol #+

type in #maxima.org and join.
