Help with this mod please??

I am doing the mod that allows a buzzer to sound when I press the factory keyless entry. I'm not sure as to how the extra relay is connected. Can anyone explain this to me? I purchased the exact relay and buzzer from radio shack as the ones in the "how to" section. Unless I cant read, I saw no reference to how to connect the relay...just the power and ground from the buzzer. Any help guys
thanks

Percy

I did this mod on my car and you do not need the extra relay. All you need to do is to tie the red and black wires into the orange/green and orange wire (I cant remember which goes where, but Ill look at mine in a few minutes)

Just hook the red wire from the buzzer onto the Green/Orange wire and then tie the black wire onto the Orange wire.

I tried to use the relay but ended up melting one of the prongs off, so I just did it the way I described above.

And you'll be better off mounting the buzzer outside of your car, under the rear bumper. It sounds a lot louder than when its inside the trunk.

Hope this helps,

Adam
