How do you remove the MAF sensor electrical connector? I was trying to disconnect it and ended up breaking a piece inside the connector. It still plugs back in but is loose and I have to use the electrical tape to secure it. I notice it has a green tab with an arrow and i pushed on it and pull out the connector but it didn't budge so I ended up using a screw driver and broke something inside the connector. I was trying to get to the TB for cleaning and while it had some gunk inside but barely enough for me to take out the TB for thorough cleaning.

Use your fingers or a screwdriver to push that green slider tab inward (toward the MAF). Push it all the way in. Then grab the gray connector shell and wiggle it away from the MAF.

Thank you Daniel. I did push in the green tab while pulling back the grey connector but didn't budge but I think i was either not using enough force to wiggle it out or the green tab wasn't pushed all the way in. Car runs fine with it taped to the MAF but is it feasiable to replace this connector or leave as is?

If you have it well-secured with tape, just leave it alone.
