I have my corners rewired so that the 1157 bulb higher wattage is alwalys on. So this week end I bought these hyper white 1157 bulbs from a local shop and they are 35w/5w. These are made by CuZo lighting products. Well i keep on blowing a fuse it's 7.5 amps. Smae fuse for my tail lights. So i tried to put a 10 amp fuse and it's still working so far. I was just woundering if this has been done before or am I asking for trouble by doing this change in amps.
Thanks

The purpose of the fuse is to protect the wiring. The factory has wiring on that circuit which will safely carry 7.5 amps. Changing the fuse to 10 amps risks damage to the harness and bulb sockets. That leads to a big repair bill.
