Ok heres what happened, I just out on a Cold air intake, all was going well apart from 1 hose was to short, OK I thought ill just pick up a new hose.

So my dumb *** thinks as the hose very nearly fitted, ill just make it fit for the drive. (I guess it was sucking in air as it was not a great fit)

So driving down the road it opened up all on its own!! I was going fast as hell down this side street, I sliped it out of drive and hit the brakes, needless to say I walked the rest of the way and fitted the longer hose and drove slow all the way home.

Now would this hose give me the problem. its the larger one the fits just behind the Mass air box and runs to the back of the car???

Has this happened to any of you, or am I the only dumb *** here (ok dont answer that one)

 

you installed the cia wrong, its not a hose, you have one of the clamps in front of the throttle cable, look at it and move the throttle, move the clamp to the back of the intake away from the throttle cable.

thats why i didnt want to install my cai when i got it, it would give me to much stress =(

Ebay, it works just great and sounds pretty good when you open her up too, makes the GTs around Detroit think!!
