Does anyone know how to pop off the red security light thing on the dash? next to the steering wheel on the left side, i have a 98se. Im thinking of replacing that red light with a blue LED. but i have had NO luck popping off that little holder thing, once i got one side out, it would get stuck and not go all the way out, im afraid of pulling too hard or ill break it. also, if i do get it off, do i cut the old LED off and solder the new one on? has anyone done/considered this?

 

It's easier to use two flathead screwdrivers... It has to come fairly straight out... when you get part of on side off then pry with the other on on the opposite side...
