Really dumb thieves

So I'm at the grocery store buying stuff to make dinner with and when I come out, I see two guys by my car. One is standing up, looking around and the other is crouched down by my front bumper. I get closer and notice the guy down by my bumper has a screwdriver. I immediately yell at them and they take off. I don't give chase because I'm more interested in my car and I'm laden with groceries.

They were trying to steal my stock orange bumper lights.

W...T...F...

The stock light was dangling out by the harness and no other harm was done to my car so I pop it in and drive off. Looking back on the incident, I'm more confused than upset. I mean, why would anyone want to steal the stock orange lights? I guess had they gotten them, I could have ordered a set of diamond cut clears so they would have been doing me a favor. Anyway, I just thought you guys might get a kick out of my story.

I wish you had a can of soup to throw, I hate thieves.

I would have dropped the groceries and ran them down and whooped the snot out of them.

i try to tell myself if i saw a theif at my car, i'd walk like it wasn't my car and start walkin to a car in the next row, and then i'd quickly run over to them. buttttttt i think i'd probably either call the cops right away or scream my head off.

glad to hear those idiots didn't do your car any harm. too bad we can't lock all people like that up in one state and let them kill each other off.

England tried that...we can learn from their mistakes and improve on the process

Step 1: Choose a smaller island

And no other damage to the car (I would have chased after them then...in the car.)

just thought i'd let you know - they were shorting out the alarm, not starting the car, by jamming the screwdriver in the light socket.

why would jamming a screwdriver in the light socket short the alarm?

Well, if it was me I would have gathered my self and came by and beat them down with a can of green beans or something..

See I wish you could have those alarms that shock people.. Id walk past them and identify myself as a cop and tell them to put their hands on the car. Then I would shock the living **** outta them by activating the alarm.

MUAHAHAH burn *****es.

What about an alarm like on Robocop? When the guy breaks in and tries to start the car he gets fried, shocker style.
