Question to electric gurus about wiring LED turn signal

Since I put LED tails on the car, I had the problem of rapid turn signal blinking, but I want it to be normal.
When I installed LED turn signals in front (truck LED lights), I used 6 Ohm resistor to kill rapid blinking. However it did not work in the rear. I tapped 6 Ohm resistor parallel into positive wire (circled) - nothing happened, then I tapped it into negative and 7,5A turn signal lights fuse blew.

I think it is important to note that when I put hazards on, blinking is normal.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I am not that bright in this stuff, still learning...

Thanks!

I marked what I could on a pic to avoid confusion....

6 ohm resistor would be for one of the LEDs on each side. I believe your solution is to have one 6 ohm resistors on each of the LEDs on each side (4 total), or have one 3ohm on each side (2 total).
I have LEDs in the rear of my maxima and I have 6 ohm resistors on each of them.

That's correct. I have two in front (one for each side), and plan to put 2 in the back.

3 Ohm?? You mean 6 Ohm might be too strong?

What do you have in your tails? LED board or LED bulb?

Its the other way around, if both the front and rear are LEDs you can use one 3ohm resistor per side or use the two 6ohm.

Umm, did not work. I tried two 6 Ohm connected in series to negative, then to positive, then tried same way parallel. Maybe pressing with thw resistor wires just with hands gives not enough contact....
I will try to to get in Radio Shack 3 Ohm one and try that?

So resistor needs to be connected to negative or positive wire?

Your resistor needs to bridge your turn signal hot, and a ground.
