jeezus are people getting MORE ignorant as time goes on?

10mm, phillups head and 5 min are all you need.

pop the hood, remove the corner lights...and the rest should be common sense

i did it...no problems at all.

To remove the headlights: remove the clearance lamps on the side of the headlights. You will see two nuts that must be remove(refer to pic). Once you have those removed, there are two more nuts on the back of the headlights (more towards the grille side of the headlight). These are a ***** to get out cuz of the tight space to work. But with a little elbow extension and persistence they will come off.

you need to remove the grill too. Its a few clips that need a 1/4 turn to come out, and maybe 2 more screws holding the grill to the headlighs.

short write up: get the screws holding the assembly in, you dont really NEED to take out the grill. i didnt. i just twisted it so the headlight would come out. stick the assembly in the OVEN like vqpower says. preheat at probly about 250degrees. then pop it in there for 20-25 minutes. use a butter knife or something, NOT a flathead to pry apart the headlight assembly. dont touch the reflective part. clean if necessary. tape off area not to be sprayed with blue painters tape, spray with 2-3 light coats, pop back in preheated 250deg oven then take out and put it back together how you took it apart. youll have to figure that out for yourself. dont forget to rub it together side to side so the glue gets into places where there are air pockets. take outside to cool off then put it back in. put everything back in its place and bam youre done. remember, be patient! dont rush or else worse comes to worse, your headlight will crack.

Don't listen to these people. You can go ahead and put the housings in the microwave oven, set the microwave oven to 250 deg.
